The next iteration of the workshop is being offered at the University of Pennsylvania in February 2023. Enrollment will be limited to 20 students, with preference given to Penn faculty, students, staff and affiliates.
In order to apply for acceptance into the workshop, we ask that you complete the following:
- Complete Part 1 of What You Will Need
- Using RStudio, write a simple R script that:
- Assigns the values 1 through 10 to a vector named ‘x’
- Calculates the square of the values in x, and assigns them to a variable named ‘x_2’
- Makes a plot of x_2 (on the y-axis) versus x (on the x-axis)
Please include comments in your script that describe what each step is doing.
